Congratulations on your engagement
Now it’s the time to start planning your perfect wedding day. Obviously this is a very exciting time, but planning for your wedding can also be very stressful. Bride Beautiful Exhibitions ( www.bride-beautiful-exhibitions.co.uk ) is here to help try and guide you through this period.

Advice and Tips and even a Budget Planner, but most importantly links to local suppliers you’ll need to make your special day run smoothly Timetable Some weddings are organised very quickly but we would suggest ideally setting the wedding date at least 12 months after getting engaged although if you want to get married sooner then as long as you follow all the points below you should be fine. And don’t worry if the wedding seems so far away – It’ll give you time to organise it properly and let’s face it you can always hold an engagement party in the meantime so you can share your happy news with family and friends

• Book the Place of Ceremony
• Make your guest list
• Send out Save the Date Cards
• Book the Reception Venue
• Plan catering/ arrange to sample catering
12-9 Months
• Arrange Wedding Insurance
• Plan your appearance
• Book the Photographer / Videographer
• Book the Florist
• Start thinking about a gift list
• Consider if you want to have a Wedding Website
• Book your Entertainment
9-6 Months
• Order your Wedding Cake
• Book all the transport for the day
• Time to decide on your wedding dress
• Bridesmaids, Matron of Honour- Dresses
• Pick the colour of the dresses for the day
6-5 months
• Start to confirm guest numbers
• Order Wedding Stationery
• Arrange clothes for the rest of the Wedding Party

• Book the Honeymoon & Wedding night Hotel (remember to check passport and whether or not you need vaccinations)
• Make the Ceremony arrangements

• Banns of Marriage (These serve as a formal announcement of intent to marry)

• Buy Wedding Party Gift’s
• Recheck your gift list
• Order and send out invites
13-weeks
• Order Wedding Favours
• Arrange the Refreshments
12-10 weeks
• Do you need Vaccinations?
• Order a new passport 10-8 weeks
• Choose your Lingerie, Shoes and Accessories
• Choose Tiara & Veil 8-6 Weeks

• Trial Run for Hair and Make up
• Chase up any outstanding RSVP’s
6-4 Weeks
• Meet up with the photographer/ videographer
• Confirm Menu and Final Numbers with Caterers
• Confirm Numbers, Arrangements and plans for Decoration at Reception Venue
• Check all Stationery & Decorations have been received
• Tickets for the honeymoon received
• Wedding night Hotel booking confirmed
4 Weeks
• Wedding License ; If you are getting married in the UK then the rules and procedures for obtaining a marriage license is different depending on which country you are in and whether you want a Civil wedding (i.e. not in a church), or what kind of religious wedding you want.

7 Days

• Confirm with Venue

• Buy any last minute clothes / accessories for Honeymoon
2 Days
• Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing,
• Sort out Cash for fees on the day
• Pack for Night before and wedding night
• Pack for the Honeymoon
• Check you have everything for your outfit
1 Day
• Decorate the Reception Venue
• Arrange for Dress, accessories, makeup, Honeymoon luggage, Overnight and Wedding night bag to be delivered to Wedding night accommodation.
• Have an early night and try and relax Wedding Day
• Relax –
• Make sure you have breakfast
• Wear comfortable clothing in the morning, think about strap marks
• Hair stylist, Make up
• Start getting dressed approximately 2 hours before you’re due to be picked up
